First off, welcome! There is no need to be nervous! I have spray tanned tons of first-time tanners, and even have a service option just for you. At your appointment, I will walk you through the different rinse time options to help you determine which solution is right for you, your desired look, and your schedule!

What To Expect
Body Glo Studio
We will decide on color and which solution to use. Once applied, you will need to leave it on your skin for a few hours before rinsing. With Express, you can rinse in 1-4 hours after your appointment, depending on how dark you’d like to go. The Standard solution has 3 different levels and requires at least 12 hours before rinsing.
You are welcome to wear as little or as much as you are comfortable with during your session. Please keep tan lines in mind. Once sprayed, tan lines cannot be filled in or blended.
You will be guided through a series of quick, easy postures during the spraying process. You will then spend a few minutes in front of the fan to dry.
Tanning sessions typically take 15-20 minutes and include basic contouring / shading.
Post session, you will need to refrain from getting wet or sweating until your first rinse. Your tan will be fully developed about 24 hrs after your session.
With proper maintenance, Body Glo tans can last 7-10 days. For best results, moisturize everyday with mineral oil free lotions and sunscreens. We do carry products at the studio to help maintain your tan.
If you are booking a trial session for your wedding or any special event, it is best to book the trial at least 2 weeks or more prior to your wedding spray tan session. This gives enough time for your trial tan to be completely removed before your next session.

Body Glo Studio uses all natural solutions filled with vitamins to help nourish and enrich your skin. They are paraben free and never tested on animals.
If you need to cancel or make a change, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled time. Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours in advance 1 day prior will be charged 25% and same day and no-show appointments will be subject to a 50% fee of the original price of services booked.
Failing to provide enough notice prevents the clients on my waiting list for the opportunity to receive services. I pride myself on being able to accommodate my clients while providing a high level of service.
How to Prepare for Your
Body Glo Tan
It is best to make your appointment in advance so that you are well prepared. All services are by appointment only.
If you have a special event you are tanning for, it is recommended to schedule your appointment 1-2 days before your event.
For best results, please shower, shave and exfoliate the day before. EXFOLIATING is very important because it will make the tan last longer. It is recommended to use exfoliating bath mitts with a mild shower gel, avoiding Dove products and bar soap. If you are washing your hair, do this before exfoliating. Moisturize with a lotion after showering, no oils. Hydrated healthy skin is key for sunless tanning. *When prepping the night before, you do not need to do anything to your skin on the day of your appointment.
If you must prep the same day as your appointment, run cold water on any areas you shave to close your pores and do not apply deodorant after. It is ok to lightly moisturize with a lotion if it is at least 4 hours before your spray tan session.
Any waxing and eyelash extensions need to be completed 1-2 days before your appointment.
Manicures / pedicures should be completed before your session. Soaking hands and feet in water afterwards will diminish the tan.
Hair appointments should be completed before your session or after you rinse.
Wear dark, loose fitting clothes to the appointment to put on immediately after your session. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest and waist. Flip flops are best.
It is important to notify us if you are or think you are pregnant. Although our solutions are paraben free and nontoxic, Body Glo Studio will not give you a spray tan until you have consulted with your doctor. It is also advised to wait until you are no longer breast-feeding before getting a spray tan.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and are required to keep undergarments on during their session. TX
